Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Adventure Tourism Guide course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills, and safety practices required to lead and manage adventure tourism activities. The program covers outdoor and adventure activity planning, risk assessment, safety protocols, emergency response, environmental awareness, and customer engagement.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2:Adventure Activity Planning and Management: Designing Adventure Tours and Itineraries, Risk Assessment and Safety Planning, Resource and Equipment Management, Scheduling and Logistics Coordination, Budgeting and Cost Control, Coordination with Local Authorities and Stakeholders

Module 3:Outdoor Skills and Technical Competencies: Navigation and Map Reading, First Aid and Emergency Response, Survival Skills and Environmental Awareness, Use of Adventure Equipment, Weather and Terrain Assessment, Technical Skills Specific to Activities (e.g., Trekking, Rafting, Climbing)

Module 5:Team Leadership and Staff Management: Guiding and Supervising Adventure Teams, Leadership and Motivation Techniques, Conflict Resolution and Problem Solving, Staff Training and Development, Performance Monitoring and Feedback, Collaboration with Other Guides and Departments

Module 6:Sustainability, Innovation and Future Trends: Eco-friendly and Sustainable Practices, Responsible Tourism and Conservation Awareness, Monitoring and Reporting Environmental Impact, Incorporating Technology in Adventure Tourism, Innovation in Adventure Programs, Emerging Trends and Global Best Practices

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
