Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Advertising Design: History and evolution of advertising, Principles of visual communication, Elements of design (line, shape, texture, space, color), Branding and identity basics, Role of art direction in advertising, Understanding consumer psychology.

Module 2: Concept Development & Creative Strategy: Creative brief analysis, Ideation techniques and brainstorming, Message framing and storytelling, USP (Unique Selling Proposition) development, Visual metaphor and symbolism, Target audience segmentation.

Module 3: Typography and Layout Design: Typography principles and anatomy, Font pairing and hierarchy, Grid systems and layout composition, Print vs digital typography, Readability and legibility techniques, Emotional impact of typography.

Module 4: Tools & Software for Art Direction: Adobe Photoshop essentials, Adobe Illustrator for vector design, Adobe InDesign for print layout, Digital illustration basics, Motion graphics introduction (After Effects), Image editing and compositing.

Module 5: Media and Campaign Execution: Print advertising design (magazines, newspapers), Outdoor media (billboards, transit), Digital and social media creatives, TVC storyboard and direction basics, Integrated campaign planning, Budget and production management.

Module 6: Portfolio Development and Industry Readiness: Building a creative portfolio, Case study presentation and layout, Feedback and critique methods, Industry trends and technologies, Preparing for agency interviews, Ethics and legal considerations in advertising.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
