Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Aftermarket Supply Specialist course is designed to develop professionals who can efficiently manage the supply chain operations related to aftermarket services, including spare parts, accessories, maintenance products, and customer support logistics. The course covers demand forecasting for aftermarket parts, inventory planning, reverse logistics, supplier and dealer coordination, warranty and returns processing, and performance metrics such as fill rates and service levels. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Aftermarket Supply Chain: Definition and Scope of Aftermarket Services, Role of Aftermarket in Business Continuity and Customer Satisfaction, Types of Aftermarket Products (Spare Parts, Accessories, Consumables), Stakeholders in the Aftermarket Ecosystem, Responsibilities of an Aftermarket Supply Specialist, Trends and Challenges in the Aftermarket Industry.

Module 2: Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management: Forecasting Techniques for Aftermarket Demand, Managing Intermittent and Uncertain Demand Patterns, Safety Stock and Service Level Optimization, Inventory Classification (ABC, FSN, XYZ), Spare Parts Replenishment Strategies, Returnable and Repairable Inventory Handling.

Module 3: Procurement and Supplier Coordination: Sourcing Strategies for Spare and Replacement Parts, Vendor Selection and Performance Monitoring, Managing Long Lead-Time and Obsolete Parts, Contract Management and SLA Agreements, Supplier Collaboration for Forecast Sharing, Localization vs Global Sourcing Considerations.

Module 4: Warehousing and Distribution in Aftermarket: Warehouse Layout and Storage for Spare Parts, Order Picking and Fulfillment Techniques, Distribution Network Design for Aftermarket Delivery, Handling Returns and Reverse Logistics, Packaging and Labeling Requirements, Use of WMS and Barcode/RFID Technology.

Module 5: Technology and Digital Tools in Aftermarket Supply: ERP and Aftermarket Order Management Systems, Use of Predictive Analytics and AI in Parts Planning, E-catalogs and Online Portals for Spare Parts, Real-Time Inventory Visibility Tools, IoT Integration in Parts Tracking, Digital Twin and Diagnostic Tools for Predictive Maintenance.

Module 6: Customer Service, Warranty, and Performance Metrics: Managing Customer Expectations and Service Levels, Warranty Management and Claims Processing, Field Service Logistics and Technician Coordination, Performance Measurement (Fill Rate, OTIF, Service Ratio), Continuous Improvement in Aftermarket Processes, Building Loyalty Through Aftermarket Excellence.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
