Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Air Cargo Ground Handler course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to manage air cargo operations on the ground efficiently and safely. Participants learn about cargo handling procedures, loading and unloading aircraft, storage, documentation, regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and coordination with airlines and freight forwarders.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Air Cargo Handling: Overview of air cargo operations, Role and responsibilities of an air cargo ground handler, Key performance indicators (KPIs) for air cargo efficiency, Types of air cargo (general, perishable, hazardous), Regulatory and compliance requirements (IATA, ICAO), Importance of safety, timeliness, and accuracy,

Module 2: Cargo Receiving & Documentation: Procedures for receiving air cargo, Verification of shipment documents (air waybill, packing list, permits), Inspection of cargo condition and compliance, Handling discrepancies or damages, Coordination with airlines and freight forwarders, Record-keeping and reporting,

Module 3: Loading & Unloading Operations: Use of ground handling equipment (forklifts, dollies, container loaders), Loading and unloading aircraft safely, Securing cargo for in-flight stability, Weight and balance considerations, Handling oversized and special cargo, Safety protocols during operations,

Module 4: Storage & Warehouse Management: Air cargo warehouse layout and organization, Storage of perishable and sensitive cargo, Inventory control and monitoring, Use of temperature-controlled facilities, Handling fragile and hazardous cargo, Compliance with safety and security standards,

Module 5: Safety, Security & Compliance: Airport security regulations and protocols, Personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, Hazard identification and risk mitigation, Handling dangerous goods according to IATA DGR, Emergency response and incident reporting, Continuous improvement in safety and security practices,

Module 6: Professional Skills & Operational Excellence: Communication with supervisors, airlines, and logistics teams, Time management and workflow prioritization, Problem-solving and incident escalation, Performance monitoring and KPI evaluation, Teamwork and coordination skills, Continuous learning and adaptation to operational changes,

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
