Objective: The Certified Air Cargo Manager course is designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills to oversee air cargo activities from acceptance to delivery. The course covers cargo booking and acceptance, documentation, cargo handling and storage, regulatory compliance (IATA, ICAO, TSA), security protocols, dangerous goods handling, and customer service. Participants will learn about airfreight market dynamics, capacity planning, pricing strategies, and the use of technology such as cargo management systems and tracking tools.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Fundamentals of Air Cargo Management: Overview of air cargo industry and supply chain, Roles and responsibilities of an Air Cargo Manager, Types of air cargo: general, perishable, dangerous goods, live animals, Regulatory environment and compliance (IATA, ICAO, TSA), Key industry stakeholders and their functions, Performance metrics and KPIs in air cargo management.
Module 2: Air Cargo Operations and Handling Procedures: Cargo acceptance, screening, and documentation processes, Packaging and labeling standards for various cargo types, Storage and warehousing requirements, Loading and unloading procedures, Use of ground support equipment (GSE), Safety and security protocols in cargo handling.
Module 3: Documentation, Customs, and Regulatory Compliance: Air waybill and related documentation, Customs clearance procedures and coordination, Compliance with international and national cargo regulations, Dangerous goods handling and documentation, Security requirements and screening processes, Recordkeeping and audit practices.
Module 4: Inventory and Warehouse Management: Warehouse layout planning and optimization, Inventory control techniques and stock management, Temperature-controlled storage and cold chain management, Use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and technology, Damage control and claims management, Coordination with logistics and distribution partners.
Module 5: Team Management and Customer Service: Recruitment, training, and performance management of cargo staff, Scheduling and resource allocation, Communication and coordination with airlines, freight forwarders, and ground handlers, Customer service best practices, Handling complaints and dispute resolution, Health, safety, and emergency response protocols.
Module 6: Technology, Cost Control, and Strategic Planning: Cargo tracking technologies: RFID, GPS, and real-time monitoring, Budgeting and cost management in air cargo operations, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives, Risk management and contingency planning, Sustainable practices in air cargo, Capstone project: develop a comprehensive air cargo operational strategy for a regional hub.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
