Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The objective of the Certified Air Freight Forwarding course is to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively manage and coordinate the transportation of goods by air. The course covers the entire air freight forwarding process, including regulatory compliance (IATA, ICAO), air cargo documentation (Air Waybill, Shipper’s Letter of Instruction), cargo handling procedures, tariff structures, route planning, packaging requirements, risk management, and customer service in the air freight industry.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Air Freight Forwarding: Overview of Air Freight Industry, Key Stakeholders in Air Freight, Types of Air Cargo, Advantages and Limitations of Air Freight, International Trade and Logistics, Role of Freight Forwarders
Module 2: Air Cargo Operations and Handling: Cargo Acceptance Procedures, Packaging and Labeling Requirements, Cargo Handling Equipment, ULDs (Unit Load Devices) and Palletization, Special Cargo Handling (Perishables, Dangerous Goods), Ground Handling Agent Responsibilities
Module 3: Air Freight Documentation and Compliance: Air Waybill (AWB) Structure and Usage, Commercial Invoice and Packing List, Export/Import Licenses and Permits, Customs Declarations and Procedures, Incoterms and Shipping Terms, Regulatory Bodies (IATA, ICAO, FIATA)
Module 4: Tariffs, Rates, and Costing in Air Freight: Types of Air Freight Rates, Chargeable Weight Calculation, Tariff Structures and Classifications, Quoting and Costing Methods, Freight Rate Negotiation, Surcharges and Accessorial Charges
Module 5: Air Freight Booking, Tracking, and Customer Service: Space Booking and Carrier Selection, E-freight and Digital Booking Tools, Tracking Systems and Milestone Updates, Cargo Delay and Claims Handling, Customer Communication Skills, Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Module 6: Safety, Security, and Risk Management in Air Freight: Aviation and Cargo Security Regulations, Dangerous Goods Classification and Handling, Risk Assessment and Mitigation, Insurance in Air Freight, Security Screening Processes, Emergency Response Procedures
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
