Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Animation Design Professional course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to create high-quality 2D and 3D animations for films, games, advertisements, and digital media. The course covers animation principles, character animation, storyboarding, rigging, motion graphics, visual effects, timing, 3D modeling integration, software tools (such as Maya, Blender, or After Effects), and post-production workflows.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Animation Design: Introduction to animation design, Principles of animation (squash and stretch, timing, anticipation), Understanding motion and physics, Storytelling and narrative techniques, Visual composition and design elements, Case studies of iconic animations

Module 2: 2D Animation Techniques: Traditional 2D animation principles, Digital 2D animation software (Toon Boom, Adobe Animate), Character design and rigging, Backgrounds and scene composition, Frame-by-frame animation techniques, Timing, spacing, and keyframing

Module 3: 3D Animation Techniques: Introduction to 3D modeling and animation, Software tools (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max), 3D character rigging and skeletal setup, Animation of characters and objects, Camera animation and scene layout, Rendering and preview techniques

Module 4: Motion Graphics and Visual Effects: Principles of motion graphics, Typography and graphic animation, Particle systems and simulations, Compositing and layering techniques, Integration of visual effects (VFX), Software tools for motion graphics (After Effects, Cinema 4D)

Module 5: Production Pipeline and Project Management: Pre-production planning and storyboarding, Animation workflow and pipeline, Collaboration with directors and designers, Asset management and version control, Quality control and review cycles, Post-production and final output preparation

Module 6: Professional Practice and Portfolio Development: Creating a professional animation portfolio, Showcasing animation projects effectively, Presenting work to clients and studios, Freelancing and industry best practices, Staying updated with animation trends and technology, Continuous learning and skill enhancement

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
