Objective: The Certified Architectural Drafter (CAD) course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to create accurate architectural drawings and technical plans using CAD software. The course covers architectural drafting principles, blueprint reading, floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D modeling, CAD software tools (like AutoCAD or Revit), dimensioning, annotations, and construction documentation standards.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Architectural Drafting: Introduction to architectural drafting, Understanding building codes and standards, Principles of technical drawing, Reading and interpreting blueprints, Scale and dimensioning techniques, Case studies of architectural drafting projects

Module 2: Drafting Tools and Techniques: Manual drafting tools and techniques, Introduction to drafting instruments, Line types, symbols, and notation, Orthographic projections, Sectional and elevation drawings, Precision and accuracy in drafting

Module 3: Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software: Overview of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD), Creating and managing layers, 2D drafting techniques, 3D modeling and visualization, Importing and exporting files, Drafting best practices in CAD

Module 4: Architectural Plans and Documentation: Site plans and floor plans, Elevations and sections, Detail drawings and construction documentation, Roof, foundation, and structural drafting, Furniture and interior layouts, Annotation, dimensioning, and labeling standards

Module 5: Technical Drafting Applications: Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC drafting basics, Landscape and exterior drafting, Material specifications and notation, Integration with structural and MEP drawings, Collaboration with architects and engineers, Troubleshooting drafting challenges

Module 6: Professional Practice and Portfolio Development: Creating a professional drafting portfolio, Presenting drawings to clients and stakeholders, Project management and workflow in drafting, Industry standards and ethics, Continuous learning and CAD software updates, Career development in architectural drafting

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
