Objective: The Certified Arts Integration Specialist course is designed to equip educators and specialists with the skills to seamlessly integrate arts (such as visual arts, music, drama, and dance) into core curriculum subjects to enhance student engagement, creativity, and learning outcomes. The program covers theories of arts integration, lesson planning, assessment strategies, and methods for using arts to deepen understanding of academic content across disciplines. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Arts Integration: Definition and key concepts of arts integration, Historical development and theories, Benefits of integrating arts in education, Types of art forms used in integration, Role of the arts specialist, Aligning arts integration with educational standards.

Module 2: Curriculum Design and Planning: Developing interdisciplinary lesson plans, Aligning arts with core subjects, Designing meaningful learning objectives, Selecting appropriate art forms for content, Differentiating instruction through arts, Incorporating cultural and diverse perspectives.

Module 3: Instructional Strategies for Arts Integration: Techniques for effective arts-based teaching, Encouraging creativity and critical thinking, Using storytelling and drama in lessons, Incorporating music, visual arts, and movement, Engaging multiple learning styles, Managing classroom dynamics during arts activities.

Module 4: Assessment and Evaluation in Arts Integration: Designing performance and project-based assessments, Using rubrics for arts and content evaluation, Formative and summative assessment techniques, Documenting student progress, Providing constructive feedback, Reflective practices for continuous improvement.

Module 5: Collaboration and Professional Development: Building partnerships with classroom teachers, Co-teaching strategies, Leading professional learning communities, Advocating for arts integration, Sharing resources and best practices, Pursuing ongoing professional growth.

Module 6: Advocacy and Sustainability: Promoting the value of arts integration in education, Engaging families and communities, Securing funding and resources, Developing sustainable arts programs, Addressing challenges and barriers, Staying current with research and innovations.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
