Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Auto Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Draftsman – Construction course is to develop proficiency in using AutoCAD for drafting detailed construction drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics. The course covers essential drafting techniques, architectural and structural detailing, dimensioning, layering, annotation, and plot preparation. Learners are trained to interpret construction specifications, integrate design changes, and ensure drawings comply with local building codes and industry standards. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to CAD and Drafting Fundamentals: Overview of CAD in the construction industry, Understanding 2D vs 3D drafting, CAD software interface and settings, Basic drawing tools and navigation, Coordinate systems and units setup, File types and data management.

Module 2: 2D Drafting Techniques and Commands: Line, circle, arc, and polyline creation, Modify commands (trim, extend, offset, mirror), Layers and line types management, Object snaps and tracking, Hatching and pattern fills, Creating and editing text and dimensions.

Module 3: Drawing Standards and Construction Documentation: Understanding drawing scales and sheet sizes, Title block creation and annotation, Construction drawing types (plans, elevations, sections), Applying national/international drafting standards (BIS, ISO), Drawing templates and layouts, Printing and plotting techniques.

Module 4: Architectural and Structural Drafting; Wall, door, and window drafting in 2D, Floor plans, elevations, and section detailing, Column and beam layout drafting, Foundation and footing details, Staircase and roofing plan drafting, Detailing building components as per construction norms.

Module 5: Introduction to 3D Drafting and Visualization: 3D modeling basics in AutoCAD, Isometric drawings and views, Extrusion and solid modeling tools, 3D navigation and visual styles, Creating walkthroughs and rendering basics, Converting 2D plans to 3D models.

Module 6: Project Execution and Industry Readiness: Real-world construction drafting project practice, Interpreting civil/architectural/structural drawings, CAD file management and collaboration, Drafting for estimation and BOQ preparation, Quality control in drafting and revisions, Portfolio creation and professional practices.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
