Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Automation Engineering: Basics of automation and control systems, Types of automation (industrial, home, business), Automation life cycle and architecture, Benefits and challenges of automation, Introduction to PLCs and SCADA, Overview of automation tools and platforms.

Module 2: Industrial Automation Technologies: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming fundamentals, Human Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA integration, Sensors and actuators in automation systems, Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, etc.), Process control systems (PID, feedback, feedforward), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

Module 3: Electrical and Control Systems: Basics of electrical circuits and control systems, Relay logic and ladder diagrams, Control panel design and wiring standards, Motor control systems and drives (VFDs, servo), Troubleshooting electrical and control systems, Safety standards in electrical automation.

Module 4: Automation Software and Programming: PLC programming languages (Ladder, FBD, ST), Introduction to industrial automation software (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley RSLogix), HMI screen design and configuration, SCADA programming and scripting, Simulation and testing of automation systems, Version control and documentation in automation.

Module 5: Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Introduction to RPA and digital workforce, RPA tools overview (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), Designing and building automation bots, RPA workflow and control flow, Error handling and exception management in RPA, RPA governance and best practices.

Module 6: Project Implementation and Industry Applications: Automation project planning and management, Case studies of automation in manufacturing and utilities, Integration with MES and ERP systems, Data logging, reporting, and analytics, Cost-benefit analysis and ROI in automation, Future trends: AI, ML, and edge computing in automation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
