The program covers muscle hypertrophy, nutrition strategies, periodization, supplementation, posing techniques, psychological preparation, and contest day protocols.ย 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Foundations of Bodybuilding Science: Principles of hypertrophy and muscle physiology, Energy systems and their role in resistance training, Types of muscle fibers and training adaptations, Periodization strategies for bodybuilding success, Understanding overtraining, recovery, and supercompensation, Role of genetics and body types in physique development.

Module 2: Nutrition for Bodybuilding and Muscle Gain: Macronutrient breakdown for bulking and cutting phases, Micronutrient importance and supplementation basics, Meal timing and frequency for optimal muscle protein synthesis, Calculating caloric needs for different phases (off-season, prep), Managing digestion and food intolerances during prep, Hydration, sodium manipulation, and fiber intake considerations.

Module 3: Contest Prep Nutrition and Peak Week Strategy: Fat loss nutrition strategies and metabolic adaptation, Refeed days, carb cycling, and diet breaks, Supplement protocols during contest prep, Peak week nutrition: carb loading, sodium/potassium manipulation, water intake, Safe and strategic fat-loss approaches to preserve muscle mass, Final week adjustments: timing, portioning, and meal planning.

Module 4: Resistance Training, Cardio, and Program Design: Designing split routines for size, strength, and symmetry, Exercise selection: compound vs isolation movements, Intensity techniques (drop sets, supersets, rest-pause, etc.), Cardio programming: steady-state vs HIIT in prep, Deload weeks and recovery integration, Mobility and injury prevention strategies for physique athletes.

Module 5: Stage Presentation, Posing, and Athlete Aesthetics: Mandatory poses and transitions (menโ€™s and womenโ€™s categories), Posing practice structure and frequency, Tanning, grooming, and appearance for the stage, Costume and suit selection guidelines, Stage confidence, mindset, and performance under pressure, Judging criteria and how to present physique accordingly.

Module 6: Coaching, Ethics, and Contest Day Management: Client assessment, onboarding, and goal setting, Psychological support during prep and post-show phases, Monitoring progress and adjusting protocols, Navigating post-contest rebound and reverse dieting, Ethics in coaching: PEDs, health-first practices, Professional development, branding, and business of bodybuilding coaching.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
