Objective: The objective of the Certified Breath Meditation Trainer course is to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to guide individuals and groups through breath-based meditation practices. The course focuses on the science and philosophy of breath (pranayama), the physiological and psychological effects of conscious breathing, and various techniques of breath awareness, regulation, and meditation.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Breath Meditation: Introduction to breath-based meditation practices, History and evolution of pranayama and breath awareness, Scientific benefits of conscious breathing, Types of breathwork traditions, Ethics and responsibilities of a meditation trainer, Importance of personal practice and embodiment.

Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology of Breath: Structure and function of the respiratory system, Role of the diaphragm and lungs in breathing, Autonomic nervous system and breath regulation, Breath and its impact on stress and emotions, Connection between breath and energy flow (Prana), Understanding breath rhythms and patterns.

Module 3: Core Breathwork Techniques and Practices: Deep diaphragmatic breathing (abdominal breathing), Box breathing and alternate nostril breathing, Energizing and calming breath techniques, Breath retention (Kumbhaka) and its effects, Guided breath awareness meditations, Contraindications and safe practice guidelines.

Module 4: Designing and Leading Breath Meditation Sessions: Structuring a breath meditation session, Voice modulation, pacing, and presence, Creating a supportive environment for practice, Language and cueing for breath guidance, Group facilitation skills and managing participant responses, Customizing breathwork for different needs and populations.

Module 5: Therapeutic Applications and Integrations: Breathwork for stress, anxiety, and emotional release, Integrating breath techniques in wellness and therapy settings, Combining breath with mindfulness and body scan, Adapting breathwork for trauma-sensitive environments, Using breath meditation for performance and focus, Lifestyle and behavioral integration of breath awareness.

Module 6: Assessment, Ethics, and Certification Readiness: Self-assessment and peer teaching practice, Ethical concerns and trainer-client boundaries, Receiving and giving constructive feedback, Practicum presentation and evaluation, Guidelines for professional certification and practice, Continuing education and personal development path.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
