Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Building Surveyor course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to inspect, assess, and manage the condition and compliance of buildings. The program covers building construction principles, structural integrity assessment, building codes and regulations, safety inspections, property condition reports, maintenance planning, and sustainability considerations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Building Construction and Materials: Types of Building Structures, Properties of Construction Materials, Construction Techniques and Methods, Structural Components and Systems, Sustainable Building Practices, Material Performance and Durability

Module 3: Building Codes, Standards, and Regulations: National and International Building Codes, Regulatory Compliance Requirements, Safety and Accessibility Standards, Environmental and Energy Standards, Certification and Approval Processes, Legal Responsibilities of Surveyors

Module 4: Building Inspection and Assessment: Inspection Techniques and Procedures, Structural Condition Assessment, Identifying Defects and Deterioration, Non-Destructive Testing Methods, Health and Safety Inspections, Documentation and Reporting of Findings

Module 5: Maintenance, Risk, and Quality Management: Preventive Maintenance Planning, Risk Assessment and Mitigation, Quality Assurance and Control Practices, Life-Cycle Assessment of Buildings, Building Performance Monitoring, Planning for Repairs and Renovations

Module 6: Professional Practice and Leadership: Ethical and Professional Standards in Building Surveying, Collaboration with Architects, Engineers, and Contractors, Project Management and Coordination, Continuous Professional Development, Implementing Best Practices in Surveys, Career Advancement in Building Surveying

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
