The course covers risk assessment, business impact analysis, crisis management, disaster recovery strategies, and compliance requirements.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Business Continuity: Definition and Importance of Business Continuity, Role and Responsibilities of a Business Continuity Support Officer, Key Concepts and Terminology, Types of Disruptions and Risks, Overview of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Relationship Between Risk Management and Business Continuity.

Module 2: Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Purpose and Process of BIA, Identifying Critical Business Functions, Assessing Impact of Disruptions, Determining Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), Data Collection Techniques for BIA, Reporting BIA Findings.

Module 3: Developing Business Continuity Plans: Components of a Business Continuity Plan, Strategies for Business Continuity, Resource and Asset Identification, Roles and Responsibilities in BCP, Plan Documentation and Format, Integration with Emergency Response Plans.

Module 4: Implementation and Training: Implementing Business Continuity Strategies, Training Employees and Stakeholders, Communication Plans During Disruptions, Conducting Awareness Programs, Role of Technology in Implementation, Building a Continuity Culture.

Module 5: Testing and Exercising BCP: Types of Tests and Exercises (Tabletop, Simulation, Full-Scale), Planning and Scheduling Exercises, Monitoring and Evaluating Test Results, Identifying Gaps and Weaknesses, Reporting and Documentation of Exercises, Continuous Improvement Processes.

Module 6: Maintenance and Compliance: Regular Review and Updating of BCP, Change Management Processes, Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Requirements, Auditing and Reporting, Leveraging Technology for Maintenance, Emerging Trends and Best Practices in Business Continuity.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
