Objective: The Certified Business Cybersecurity Officer course is designed to equip business leaders and cybersecurity professionals with the skills to develop and oversee comprehensive cybersecurity programs aligned with organizational objectives. The course covers risk management, governance, compliance, incident response, and strategic planning from a business-focused perspective.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Cybersecurity for Business Leaders: Overview of Cybersecurity Concepts, Cyber Threat Landscape and Types of Attacks, Cybersecurity Terminology and Frameworks, Importance of Cybersecurity in Business, Roles and Responsibilities of a Business Cybersecurity Officer, Legal and Regulatory Environment.

Module 2: Risk Management and Cybersecurity Governance: Cyber Risk Assessment and Analysis, Developing Cybersecurity Policies and Procedures, Establishing Governance Frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), Incident Response Planning, Vendor and Third-Party Risk Management, Building a Cybersecurity Culture.

Module 3: Security Architecture and Technology Overview: Network Security Fundamentals, Endpoint and Application Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security Principles, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Emerging Technologies and Their Security Implications.

Module 4: Incident Response and Business Continuity: Incident Detection and Reporting, Cyber Incident Response Team Roles, Forensics and Evidence Management, Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery, Communication Strategies During a Cyber Incident, Post-Incident Analysis and Lessons Learned.

Module 5: Compliance, Auditing, and Legal Considerations: Understanding Data Protection Laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), Cybersecurity Compliance Requirements, Internal and External Audits, Managing Compliance Documentation, Ethical and Legal Issues in Cybersecurity, Reporting to Boards and Regulators.

Module 6: Strategic Cybersecurity Leadership and Communication: Aligning Cybersecurity with Business Objectives, Budgeting and Resource Allocation, Training and Awareness Programs, Communicating Cybersecurity Risks to Executives, Building Cross-Functional Security Teams, Future Trends and Continuous Improvement.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
