The course covers theories of career development, assessment techniques, counseling methods, and labor market information, enabling advisors to support diverse populations including students, job seekers, and professionals.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Career Development: Overview of career development theories, Importance of career advising, Role and responsibilities of a career advisor, Understanding labor market trends, Ethical considerations in career counseling, Diversity and inclusion in career development.

Module 2: Career Assessment and Self-Exploration: Tools for assessing interests, skills, and values, Personality assessments and their use, Techniques for self-exploration, Identifying strengths and areas for growth, Setting career goals, Helping clients build self-awareness.

Module 3: Career Planning and Goal Setting: Developing individualized career plans, Short-term and long-term goal setting, Strategies for decision making, Creating action steps and timelines, Overcoming barriers and challenges, Monitoring and adjusting career plans.

Module 4: Job Search Strategies and Techniques: Resume and cover letter writing, Interview preparation and techniques, Networking and professional branding, Utilizing online job platforms, Understanding job market dynamics, Negotiation skills for job offers.

Module 5: Career Development Program Implementation: Designing career workshops and seminars, Group coaching techniques, Collaborating with educational institutions and employers, Evaluating program effectiveness, Using technology in career services, Supporting diverse client populations.

Module 6: Professional Development and Ethical Practice: Continuing education and certifications, Building professional networks, Ethical dilemmas and decision-making, Reflective practice and supervision, Advocacy for career development services, Staying current with industry trends.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
