Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Cargo/Freight Handler (Road) course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to handle cargo and freight safely and efficiently in road transportation operations. Participants learn about cargo loading and unloading, securing loads, documentation, vehicle safety, handling hazardous materials, and compliance with transportation regulations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Receiving & Inspection of Goods: Procedures for receiving cargo, Verification against shipping documents, Inspection for quantity and quality, Handling damaged or non-compliant goods, Recording and reporting discrepancies, Coordination with warehouse and transport teams,

Module 3: Loading, Unloading & Handling Techniques: Safe loading and unloading procedures, Use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools, Proper stacking and securing of cargo, Weight distribution and stability considerations, Handling hazardous and sensitive goods, Minimizing damage during handling,

Module 4: Transportation & Route Coordination: Understanding transport schedules and routes, Coordination with drivers and fleet management, Cargo tracking during transit, Compliance with road transport regulations, Planning for time-sensitive deliveries, Contingency planning for delays or accidents,

Module 5: Safety, Security & Compliance: Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols, Road and warehouse safety procedures, Cargo security and anti-theft measures, Regulatory compliance for road transport, Emergency response and accident reporting, Risk assessment and mitigation strategies,

Module 6: Technology & Operational Efficiency: Use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and tracking tools, Barcode and RFID applications, Real-time monitoring of cargo movements, Data recording and reporting for operational insights, Automation tools for handling and dispatch, Continuous improvement in road freight operations,

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
