Global Occupational Skill Standard – GOSS ID: GOSS/JPM/CCTM/V1

Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Celebrity & Talent Manager course is designed to equip learners with the professional knowledge and practical skills needed to manage the careers, branding, and business affairs of celebrities, artists, influencers, and performers across entertainment, sports, media, and digital platforms. The course covers talent scouting, contract negotiation, brand partnerships, image management, scheduling, crisis handling, and media/public relations. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Celebrity and Talent Management: Understanding the entertainment and influencer industry ecosystem, Roles and responsibilities of a celebrity/talent manager, Types of talent: actors, musicians, athletes, influencers, content creators, Importance of personal branding and image building for talent, Industry stakeholders: agencies, brands, media, production houses, Key legal and ethical considerations in representation and endorsement.

Module 2: Talent Scouting, Onboarding, and Profiling: Identifying emerging talent through auditions, social media, and referrals, Creating talent profiles, portfolios, and showreels, Talent evaluation: skills, market potential, and audience appeal, Planning career goals and brand positioning with the talent, Talent grooming, training, and performance feedback systems, Building a network of casting directors, labels, and digital platforms.

Module 3: Career Management and Brand Building: Creating a strategic roadmap for career development and public positioning, Managing auditions, castings, gigs, brand deals, and public appearances, Crafting bios, press kits, and media statements, Developing a personal brand for talent across digital and traditional media, Collaborating with PR, stylists, image consultants, and content teams, Crisis management and public reputation control for talent.

Module 4: Contracts, Negotiations, and Legal Affairs: Understanding contracts: agency agreements, exclusivity, brand deals, endorsements, Key clauses in talent agreements: royalties, timelines, deliverables, cancellation, Negotiating fees, revenue shares, travel, and hospitality, IP rights, image usage rights, and performance clauses, Coordination with lawyers, agents, and production teams, Managing compliance with legal, industry, and tax obligations.

Module 5: Event Management, Media Relations, and Endorsements: Planning and managing appearances: events, promotions, red carpets, shoots, Building media relations for interviews, features, magazine covers, and PR events, Identifying and negotiating brand collaborations and sponsorships, Leveraging awards, recognition, and social causes for visibility, Managing fan engagement and social presence with consistency, Handling logistics, schedules, security, and travel arrangements.

Module 6: Digital Presence, Monetization, and Career Growth: Managing talent’s digital footprint across social media platforms, Planning content calendars, livestreams, collaborations, and digital campaigns, Exploring monetization through merchandise, podcasts, NFTs, and subscriptions, Analytics tracking: engagement, growth, and brand value assessment, Building a long-term talent roster and agency brand, Career paths: freelance manager, agency executive, talent scout, celebrity publicist.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
