Objective: The Certified Cloud Practitioner course is designed to provide non-technical professionals, beginners, and business stakeholders with a foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts and services. The objective is to help learners develop a broad comprehension of cloud technologies, including cloud deployment models, core cloud services, pricing and billing structures, security best practices, and use cases across various industries.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Cloud Computing Fundamentals: Definition and characteristics of Cloud Computing, Cloud deployment models (Public, Private, Hybrid), Cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Benefits and limitations of Cloud Computing, Key concepts: elasticity, scalability, high availability, Cloud adoption and transformation journey.

Module 2: Core Cloud Services: Introduction to major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Compute services (EC2, App Engine, Virtual Machines), Storage services (S3, Blob Storage, Cloud Storage), Database services (RDS, Cosmos DB, Cloud SQL), Networking and CDN services (VPC, CloudFront, Route 53), Serverless computing (Lambda, Functions).

Module 3: Security and Compliance in the Cloud: Shared responsibility model, Identity and access management (IAM), Data encryption at rest and in transit, Security best practices and policies, Compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO), Cloud security tools and services.

Module 4: Cloud Pricing and Support: Understanding pricing models (pay-as-you-go, reserved, spot), Estimating cloud costs and budgeting, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Billing and cost management tools, Support plans and SLA overview, Cost optimization strategies.

Module 5: Cloud Architecture and Design Principles: Principles of cloud-native architecture, Designing scalable and resilient systems, High availability and disaster recovery, Decoupling and microservices, Cloud monitoring and logging, Use of templates and automation (CloudFormation, ARM).

Module 6: Preparing for Certification and Industry Use Cases: Exam structure and preparation tips, Practice questions and mock exams, Industry-specific cloud adoption (finance, healthcare, education), Real-world use cases of cloud services, Hands-on lab and simulation environments, Future trends in cloud computing and career paths.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
