Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Cold Chain Auditor course is designed to equip participants with specialized knowledge and auditing skills to assess the integrity, compliance, and efficiency of cold chain operations across industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, biotechnology, and logistics. The course covers principles of cold chain management, temperature-sensitive product handling, storage and transport requirements, monitoring systems, risk assessment, documentation practices, and corrective/preventive action planning.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Cold Chain Systems and Standards: Overview of cold chain logistics and its global importance, Key components of cold chain infrastructure: storage, transport, handling, Types of temperature-sensitive products: food, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, Regulatory and industry standards (GWP, GDP, HACCP, ISO 22000), Roles and responsibilities of a Cold Chain Auditor, Understanding audit principles and objectives.
Module 2: Cold Storage Facilities and Equipment Compliance: Types of cold storage units: walk-in freezers, chillers, blast freezers, Facility layout, zoning, and segregation requirements, Refrigeration systems and temperature monitoring technologies, Calibration and maintenance of cold chain equipment, Audit criteria for hygiene, pest control, and infrastructure integrity, Documentation and SOPs for cold storage operations.
Module 3: Cold Chain Transportation and Distribution Controls: Refrigerated transport systems: reefer trucks, containers, air freight, Packaging and insulation techniques for maintaining temperature integrity, Real-time temperature tracking and data loggers in transit, Audit checkpoints for vehicle cleanliness, pre-cooling, and loading, Route planning, contingency handling, and emergency protocols, Compliance with delivery timelines and product safety.
Module 4: Quality Management and Product Safety in Cold Chain: Risk assessment and hazard identification in cold chain processes, Integration of HACCP and ISO standards in quality control, Monitoring and recording of temperature excursions, Auditing for traceability, recall systems, and shelf-life validation, Sample retention, product testing, and lab analysis compliance, GMP/GDP documentation for product integrity.
Module 5: Cold Chain Audit Planning and Execution: Planning and scheduling cold chain audits: scope, criteria, tools, Conducting on-site inspections and interviews with staff, Evaluating compliance with operational procedures and checklists, Identifying non-conformities, root cause analysis, and risk grading, Reporting audit findings and issuing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), Preparing for third-party and regulatory inspections.
Module 6: Continuous Improvement and Sustainability in Cold Chain: Energy efficiency practices in cold storage and transportation, Environmental sustainability in refrigerants and emissions control, Staff training and competency evaluation for cold chain handling, Performance metrics and KPI tracking for cold chain audits, Implementing audit recommendations and best practices, Case studies on cold chain failures and lessons learned.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
