Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Commercial HVAC Technician course is to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to install, service, and troubleshoot commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The course covers system design, refrigeration cycles, airflow principles, ductwork installation, electrical controls, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Commercial HVAC Systems: Overview of HVAC systems and components, Principles of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, Types of commercial HVAC systems, Basic thermodynamics and refrigeration cycle, HVAC system design considerations, Safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Module 2: HVAC Equipment and Components: Commercial heating equipment (boilers, furnaces), Cooling equipment (chillers, cooling towers, compressors), Air handling units and ductwork, Control systems and thermostats, Filters and air quality devices, Energy-efficient HVAC technologies.

Module 3: Installation of Commercial HVAC Systems: Site assessment and preparation, Installation of heating and cooling units, Ductwork fabrication and installation, Electrical wiring and controls setup, Piping and refrigerant line installation, Commissioning and startup procedures.

Module 4: Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Routine inspection and preventive maintenance, Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, Refrigerant recovery and recharging, Cleaning and replacing filters and components, Troubleshooting airflow and temperature problems, Record-keeping and maintenance documentation.

Module 5: HVAC System Controls and Automation: Overview of control systems and building automation, Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in HVAC, Sensors and actuators, Energy management systems, Troubleshooting control system issues, Integration with smart building technologies.

Module 6: Safety, Codes, and Regulations: Workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations, Handling refrigerants and hazardous materials, Environmental regulations and compliance (EPA, refrigerant handling), Electrical safety in HVAC work, Emergency procedures and first aid, Continuing education and certification requirements.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
