Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Compositor course aims to equip learners with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in typesetting, layout design, and print preparation. The course covers the fundamentals of typography, digital composition techniques, and industry-standard software tools. Students will learn how to arrange text and images effectively for various print and digital media, ensuring readability, aesthetic appeal, and technical accuracy.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Compositing: Basics of compositing, Types of compositing (2D, 3D), Compositing software overview, Understanding layers and channels, Color theory for compositing, Workflow in compositing.

Module 2: Keying and Matte Extraction: Green screen keying techniques, Blue screen keying, Matte extraction basics, Refining mattes and edges, Spill suppression and color correction, Using alpha channels and masks.

Module 3: Rotoscoping and Masking: Rotoscoping fundamentals, Creating and animating masks, Techniques for edge refinement, Using splines and bezier curves, Tracking for rotoscoping, Combining masks with mattes.

Module 4: Visual Effects Integration: Match moving basics, Camera tracking, 3D compositing introduction, Adding CGI elements, Light and shadow integration, Depth and perspective correction.

Module 5: Color Grading and Correction: Color correction tools, Matching shots for consistency, Using LUTs and color presets, Secondary color correction, Color grading workflows, Final output preparation.

Module 6: Advanced Compositing Techniques and Project: Particle effects and simulations, Motion blur and time effects, Compositing for VR and 360 videos, Stereoscopic compositing, Exporting and rendering techniques, Final project and portfolio development.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
