Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Basics of Computer and IT Concepts: Definition and evolution of computers, Types of computers (analog, digital, hybrid), Components of a computer system (hardware and software), Input and output devices, Memory types and storage devices, Basic IT terminology and number systems.

Module 2: Operating System and File Management: Functions and types of operating systems (Windows, Linux), Booting process and system configuration, File and folder creation, renaming and deletion, File extensions and directory structure, Disk cleanup, defragmentation and shortcuts, Using Control Panel and system utilities.

Module 3: Word Processing and Spreadsheets: MS Word basics (typing, editing, formatting), Page setup and print preview options, MS Excel basics (rows, columns, cells), Using basic formulas and functions, Charts and tables in Word and Excel, Creating and saving documents and spreadsheets.

Module 4: Internet, Email, and Networking: Basics of the internet and web browsers, Understanding URLs, domains, and search engines, Creating and managing email accounts, Attaching files and using CC/BCC, Introduction to computer networks (LAN, WAN), Cybersecurity basics and safe browsing.

Module 5: Digital Devices and Multimedia Tools: Using printers, scanners, and projectors, Basics of digital cameras and webcams, Introduction to multimedia (audio, video, graphics), Playing and converting media files, Installing and uninstalling applications, Mobile devices and synchronization tools.

Module 6: ICT Applications and Digital Awareness: Role of ICT in education, business, and governance, Online services (banking, shopping, ticketing), Digital literacy and digital citizenship, e-Governance and digital ID systems, Data privacy and cyber hygiene, Current trends in IT (cloud, AI, IoT).

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
