Objective: The Certified Corporate Communications Specialist course is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to plan, manage, and deliver strategic communication within and outside an organization. The course covers key areas such as corporate messaging, brand voice development, executive communication, internal and external stakeholder engagement, media relations, CSR communication, and reputation management. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Corporate Communications: Understanding the role and scope of corporate communications in organizations, Key functions: internal communication, media relations, branding, crisis management, Stakeholders in corporate communication: employees, investors, media, customers, Aligning communication strategies with corporate vision, mission, and values, Types of corporate communication: proactive, reactive, strategic, Communication policies, protocols, and ethical standards.

Module 2: Corporate Messaging and Brand Positioning: Developing core brand messages and corporate narrative, Crafting mission-aligned messages for internal and external audiences, Writing speeches, CEO messages, corporate statements, and leadership blogs, Creating positioning strategies for executive and corporate thought leadership, Aligning communication tone and voice across channels and departments, Ensuring consistency in brand communication through all media.

Module 3: Media Relations and Public Engagement: Building and managing relationships with journalists and media outlets, Organizing press conferences, interviews, media briefings, and Q&A sessions, Writing press releases, media advisories, and background notes, Managing news coverage and securing positive media exposure, Responding to media inquiries and managing press during crises, Developing and maintaining a media contact database.

Module 4: Digital and Social Media Communications: Building a corporate digital communication strategy, Managing content across official websites, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms, Planning content calendars and digital storytelling campaigns, Monitoring online reputation, engagement, and sentiment, Using social media to amplify PR and CSR initiatives, Tools for digital analytics and performance tracking.

Module 5: Internal Communication and Stakeholder Alignment: Designing communication strategies for employees, management, and departments, Creating internal newsletters, announcements, and policy communication, Managing leadership communication, town halls, and employee feedback channels, Supporting HR with employer branding and internal culture initiatives, Coordinating with departments to ensure message alignment and clarity, Building a transparent, open, and feedback-driven communication culture.

Module 6: Crisis Communication and Career Development: Understanding types of corporate crises: financial, legal, reputational, operational, Developing and executing a crisis communication plan, Preparing holding statements, FAQs, and coordinated team responses, Managing stakeholder trust and media relations during adverse events, Building a portfolio with case studies, sample plans, and media kits, Career roles: corporate comms officer, PR head, reputation strategist, CSR communications lead.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
