Objective: The Certified Cybersecurity Analyst course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to proactively detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats. The course covers threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection, security monitoring, risk management, incident response, and the use of cybersecurity tools and frameworks. Participants learn to identify potential risks, implement protective measures, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1 – Cybersecurity Fundamentals & Threat Landscape: Introduction to cybersecurity concepts and roles, CIA triad and core security principles, Overview of threat actors, attack types and motivations, Common vulnerabilities and threat vectors (malware, phishing, DDoS, insider threats), Cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS controls), Ethical, legal and compliance aspects of cybersecurity

Module 2 – Network, Systems & Infrastructure Security: Fundamentals of network architecture, protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Network devices and segmentation, Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and perimeter defenses, Operating system and server hardening (Windows, Linux), Virtualisation, cloud infrastructure and security implications, Monitoring and logging network and system events

Module 3 – Identity, Access & Application Security: Authentication & authorization mechanisms (MFA, single sign‑on, IAM), Access control models (RBAC, ABAC, least privilege), Application security concepts (OWASP Top 10, secure SDLC), Web and API security (XSS, SQL injection, CSRF, API misuse), Secure configuration of endpoints, mobile, IoT devices, Identity governance, provisioning and auditing

Module 4 – Threat Detection, Incident Response & Forensics: Security monitoring and event analysis (logs, SIEM, EDR), Threat intelligence and hunting techniques, Incident response lifecycle (detect, respond, recover, improve), Digital forensics fundamentals (evidence collection, chain of custody, analysis), Analyzing indicators of compromise (IoCs) and attack footprints, Post‑incident review, root cause analysis and lessons learned

Module 5 – Data Security, Cloud & Emerging Technologies: Data classification, confidentiality, integrity, availability and data lifecycle protection, Encryption (symmetric/asymmetric), hashing, PKI and key management, Cloud security models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Cloud native controls, hybrid and multi‑cloud security architectures, Emerging technologies and threats (AI/ML in cybersecurity, IoT/OT security, blockchain) and their implications, Data governance, privacy and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS)

Module 6 – Risk Management, Strategy & Cybersecurity Operations: Risk assessment and management methodologies (quantitative, qualitative), Security operations best practices (SOC, blue team, red team engagement), Metrics, KPIs and security performance monitoring, Business continuity, disaster recovery and resilience planning, Security governance, policy development and audit readiness, Continuous improvement, emerging threat trends and planning the cybersecurity roadmap

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
