Objective: The Certified Cybersecurity in Healthcare Professional course is designed to equip individuals with the specialized knowledge and technical skills required to protect sensitive healthcare data and systems from cyber threats. The course focuses on healthcare-specific cybersecurity practices, including data encryption, access control, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, or local health data laws. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity in Healthcare: Overview of cybersecurity concepts and importance in healthcare, Types of cyber threats specific to healthcare environments, Introduction to healthcare IT systems and digital health infrastructure, Role of a cybersecurity professional in protecting health data, Impact of data breaches on patients and organizations, Global and national trends in healthcare cybersecurity.

Module 2: Healthcare Data Systems and Vulnerabilities: Understanding Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Common vulnerabilities in medical devices, cloud systems, and mobile health apps, Network and system architecture in hospitals, Role of IoT and telemedicine in expanding attack surfaces, Threats like ransomware, phishing, DDoS in healthcare settings, Case studies of major healthcare cybersecurity incidents.

Module 3: Data Privacy, Protection and Compliance: Overview of data protection regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, NDHM, etc.), Patient consent, access rights, and confidentiality protocols, Data classification, encryption, and secure storage techniques, Legal implications of data breaches and non-compliance, Privacy impact assessments (PIA) and risk evaluation, Compliance documentation and audit preparation.

Module 4: Cybersecurity Tools, Techniques and Best Practices: Firewalls, antivirus, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems (IDS), Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access controls, Secure data transmission: VPNs, SSL/TLS, and email security, Patch management, software updates, and device hardening, Backups, disaster recovery, and incident response planning, Routine vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.

Module 5: Threat Detection, Incident Response and Recovery: Monitoring systems for unusual activities and real-time alerts, Cyber incident detection and classification process, Steps in responding to a security breach or cyberattack, Communication protocols during and after incidents, Data recovery and continuity of care post-breach, Post-incident reporting, forensic analysis, and improvement planning.

Module 6: Staff Training, Policy Development and Future Trends: Creating organizational cybersecurity policies and SOPs, Conducting cybersecurity awareness and training for healthcare staff, Addressing human factors: social engineering, insider threats, Regular drills, simulations, and phishing tests, Emerging technologies: blockchain, AI in cybersecurity, Building a cybersecurity career in the healthcare industry.

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
