Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Educational Data Analytics: Overview of Data Analytics in Education, Types and Sources of Educational Data, Importance of Data-Driven Decision Making, Key Stakeholders and Their Data Needs, Ethical Considerations in Educational Data Use, Introduction to Data Privacy Laws (FERPA, GDPR).

Module 2: Data Collection and Management: Designing Effective Data Collection Tools, Surveys, Assessments, and LMS Data, Data Cleaning and Preprocessing Techniques, Database Basics and Data Warehousing, Data Governance and Quality Assurance, Use of APIs and Automation in Data Collection.

Module 3: Descriptive and Diagnostic Analytics: Understanding Descriptive Statistics (Mean, Median, Mode, etc.), Data Visualization Techniques (Dashboards, Charts, etc.), Trend and Pattern Analysis, Cohort Analysis in Educational Settings, Root Cause Analysis for Learning Gaps, Using Diagnostic Data to Inform Instruction.

Module 4: Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics: Introduction to Predictive Modeling Techniques, Building and Validating Predictive Models, Using Machine Learning for Student Performance Forecasting, Early Warning Systems for Dropout Risks, Prescriptive Analytics for Intervention Strategies, Ethical Use of Predictive Models in Education.

Module 5: Tools and Technologies for Educational Data Analysis: Using Excel, SPSS, and R for Education Data Analysis, Introduction to Python and Jupyter Notebooks, Learning Analytics Tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio), Integrating LMS and SIS Data, Using Learning Record Stores (LRS), Introduction to AI in Education Analytics.

Module 6: Application and Reporting of Insights: Developing Data-Driven Educational Reports, Communicating Insights to Educators and Administrators, Case Studies of Data-Driven Educational Improvements, Designing Actionable Plans Based on Analytics, Measuring Impact of Interventions, Capstone Project: Data Analysis for a Real-World Educational Problem.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
