Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent is required.

Objective: The Certified Data Centre Professional course aims to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the design, construction, and management of data centre environments. The program covers critical aspects such as power and cooling systems, physical and network security, infrastructure management, disaster recovery, and compliance standards. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Data Centres: Definition and purpose of data centres, Types of data centres (enterprise, colocation, cloud), Data centre design principles, Key data centre standards and regulations (TIA-942, Uptime Institute), Data centre roles and responsibilities, Overview of data centre lifecycle.

Module 2: Data Centre Infrastructure Components: Power supply and distribution systems, Cooling and HVAC systems, Physical infrastructure (racks, cabinets, raised floors), Networking infrastructure and cabling, Fire detection and suppression systems, Monitoring and management tools.

Module 3: Data Centre Design and Construction: Site selection and location considerations, Data centre tier classifications and reliability levels, Architectural and structural design, Electrical and mechanical system design, Scalability and modularity, Construction project management.

Module 4: Data Centre Operations and Maintenance: Operational best practices, Preventive and corrective maintenance, Asset and inventory management, Capacity planning and resource optimization, Incident and problem management, Data centre documentation and reporting.

Module 5: Security and Compliance in Data Centres: Physical security controls and access management, Environmental controls and risk mitigation, Compliance with standards and regulations (PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR), Disaster recovery and business continuity planning, Security incident response, Auditing and assessment processes.

Module 6: Emerging Technologies and Trends: Edge computing and micro data centres, Cloud integration and hybrid environments, Energy efficiency and green data centres, Automation and AI in data centre management, Software-defined data centres (SDDC), Future outlook and career development.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
