Objective: The Certified Data Governance Manager (CDGM) course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of how to establish and manage effective data governance programs. The course equips learners with the knowledge and tools to define data governance strategies, policies, and standards that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Data Governance: Definition and Importance of Data Governance, Core Principles and Objectives, Data Governance vs Data Management, Key Roles and Responsibilities, Industry Drivers and Regulatory Requirements, Data Governance Frameworks (DAMA, DCAM, etc.).

Module 2: Data Governance Strategy and Planning: Establishing Vision and Goals, Building a Data Governance Roadmap, Aligning with Business Objectives, Identifying Critical Data Domains, Setting Up Governance Councils and Committees, Developing a Communication and Change Management Plan.

Module 3: Data Policies, Standards, and Compliance: Creating Data Governance Policies and Procedures, Data Quality Standards and Rules, Data Privacy and Protection Regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), Metadata Management and Data Lineage, Policy Enforcement Mechanisms, Risk Management and Audit Readiness.

Module 4: Data Stewardship and Ownership: Defining Data Stewardship Roles, Data Ownership Models, Data Stewardship Processes and Tools, Data Classification and Cataloging, Collaboration Between Business and IT, Training and Enabling Data Stewards.

Module 5: Technology and Tools for Data Governance: Overview of Data Governance Platforms, Metadata and Master Data Management Tools, Data Quality and Profiling Tools, Integration with Data Warehouses and Lakes, Tool Selection and Evaluation Criteria, Automation and Workflow Management.

Module 6: Monitoring, Metrics, and Continuous Improvement: Defining KPIs for Data Governance, Data Quality Measurement and Dashboards, Issue Tracking and Resolution Processes, Governance Maturity Models, Continuous Monitoring and Optimization, Driving a Culture of Data Accountability and Trust.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
