Objective: The Certified Data Privacy Compliance Assistant course is designed to equip professionals with the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to support data privacy and protection efforts within an organization. The course covers key data protection laws and frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and local regulations, as well as principles of data privacy, data classification, consent management, records handling, and incident response.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Data Privacy and Compliance: Understanding Data Privacy and Protection, Importance of Data Privacy Compliance, Overview of Global Privacy Laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), Roles and Responsibilities of a Data Privacy Compliance Assistant, Key Definitions and Concepts (PII, Data Subject, etc.), Legal and Ethical Considerations.

Module 2: Data Collection and Consent Management: Principles of Lawful Data Collection, Consent Mechanisms and Requirements, Data Minimization and Purpose Limitation, Managing Consent Records, Withdrawal of Consent Procedures, Working with Marketing and Data Collection Teams.

Module 3: Data Subject Rights and Requests: Right to Access, Right to Rectification, Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten), Data Portability, Handling Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), Verification and Response Protocols.

Module 4: Data Handling and Security Measures: Best Practices in Data Storage and Access, Encryption and Anonymization Basics, Secure Data Sharing Procedures, Managing Third-Party Processors, Incident Response and Breach Notification, Record Keeping and Audit Trails.

Module 5: Compliance Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining Privacy Compliance Records, Creating and Updating Privacy Notices, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Internal Reporting Procedures, Supporting Audits and Inspections, Compliance Checklists and Templates.

Module 6: Training, Awareness, and Continuous Improvement: Conducting Privacy Awareness Sessions, Promoting a Privacy-First Culture, Monitoring Regulatory Changes, Assisting with Policy Updates, Participating in Compliance Reviews, Tools and Resources for Ongoing Learning.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
