The course covers core design principles such as color theory, typography, layout, branding, and composition, with a focus on adapting visuals for screen-based media. Learners will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Foundations of Digital Graphic Design: Introduction to digital design and its application across platforms, Principles of design: balance, contrast, alignment, proximity, hierarchy, Understanding color theory, typography, and layout in digital context, Difference between print and digital design workflows, Exploring raster vs vector graphics, Overview of design trends and industry standards.

Module 2: Graphic Design Tools and Software Proficiency: Mastering Adobe Photoshop for raster image editing and digital art, Working with Adobe Illustrator for vector illustrations and logos, Using Adobe InDesign for layout and publication design, Introduction to Canva, Figma, and other modern digital design tools, File formats and resolution settings for screen-based output, Setting up artboards, grids, and design systems.

Module 3: Designing for Web and Mobile Platforms: Creating banners, hero images, and graphics for websites, Designing responsive graphics for mobile apps and social media, Understanding screen resolutions, aspect ratios, and pixel density, Optimizing graphics for faster loading and accessibility, Working with UI kits and digital components, Exporting assets for developers and CMS platforms.

Module 4: Social Media and Marketing Design: Designing for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms, Creating ads, story creatives, carousels, and video thumbnails, Applying branding consistently across all digital content, Designing infographics and visual narratives for engagement, Using templates and automation for large-scale content creation, A/B testing designs and analyzing performance.

Module 5: Branding, Identity, and Campaign Graphics: Designing logos, icons, and brand assets for digital brands, Creating visual brand guidelines and mood boards, Designing campaign graphics with consistency and purpose, Typography pairings and color palettes for brand identity, Mockups and brand collateral presentation, Collaborating with clients and teams on brand direction.

Module 6: Portfolio Development and Professional Practice: Creating a personal design portfolio website or digital showcase, Presenting client briefs, design rationale, and revisions, Building case studies to highlight design thinking and outcomes, Freelancing, agency, and in-house career opportunities, Staying updated with trends in digital design and creative tech, Preparing for interviews, pitching, and professional growth as a digital designer.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
