Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Digital Illustration Artist course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to create professional-quality digital illustrations for games, animation, books, advertising, and multimedia projects. The course covers digital drawing and painting techniques, composition, color theory, visual storytelling, character and environment illustration, software tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Procreate), and portfolio development.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Digital Illustration: Introduction to digital illustration, Principles of visual communication, Elements of art (line, shape, color, texture, space), Composition and perspective techniques, Understanding digital color theory, Case studies of digital illustration works

Module 2: Drawing and Concept Development: Sketching and ideation techniques, Character and environment design, Conceptual illustration creation, Storyboarding and visual narrative, Thumbnailing and layout planning, Iteration and refinement processes

Module 3: Digital Tools and Techniques: Overview of digital illustration software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate), Vector vs raster illustration, Layers, blending, and brush techniques, Custom brushes and textures, Masking and selection tools, File management and optimization

Module 4: Advanced Digital Painting and Effects: Rendering techniques for light and shadow, Digital coloring and shading, Texture creation and application, Special effects (glow, gradients, patterns), Creating depth and atmosphere, Combining 2D and 3D elements

Module 5: Specialized Digital Illustration Areas: Editorial and book illustration, Concept art and character design, Advertising and marketing illustration, Infographics and visual storytelling, Game and animation asset illustration, Style exploration and adaptation

Module 6: Professional Practice and Portfolio Development: Building a professional digital illustration portfolio, Presenting work to clients and employers, Freelancing and agency collaboration, Copyright and intellectual property considerations, Networking and industry participation, Continuous skill development and keeping up with trends

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
