Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Digital Transcriptionist course is designed to train professionals in accurately transcribing audio and video content across various digital formats and industries. The course covers transcription techniques, audio enhancement tools, grammar and punctuation rules, formatting standards, and the use of modern transcription software and foot pedals. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Digital Transcription: Role and Responsibilities of a Digital Transcriptionist, Overview of the Transcription Industry, Types of Digital Transcription (Medical, Legal, General, Business), Ethics and Confidentiality in Transcription, Understanding Client Requirements, Transcription Workflow and Lifecycles.

Module 2: Transcription Tools and Software: Overview of Transcription Software and Platforms, Using Foot Pedals and Headphones, Voice Recognition Tools and AI Integration, File Formats and Conversion Tools, Keyboard Shortcuts for Efficiency, Data Backup and File Management.

Module 3: Language, Grammar, and Style: Grammar and Punctuation Rules, Sentence Structure and Clarity, Identifying and Correcting Errors, Transcription Style Guides and Formatting Standards, Using Templates Effectively, Understanding Context and Tone.

Module 4: Listening and Typing Skills: Improving Active Listening Skills, Handling Difficult Audio and Accents, Managing Background Noise and Overlapping Speech, Developing Typing Speed and Accuracy, Timestamping and Speaker Identification, Transcribing Multi-Speaker Dialogues.

Module 5: Quality Control and Editing: Proofreading and Self-Editing Techniques, Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them, Formatting and Consistency Checks, Client-Specific Editing Requirements, Finalizing and Submitting Transcripts, Using QA Tools and Checklists.

Module 6: Professional Practice and Career Development: Time Management and Workflow Optimization, Working with Clients and Managing Feedback, Freelance Platforms and Employment Opportunities, Setting Rates and Invoicing, Building a Professional Portfolio, Continuing Education and Industry Trends.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
