Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Educational Mentoring and Coaching: Definition and distinctions between mentoring and coaching, Roles and responsibilities of mentors and coaches, Ethical considerations and confidentiality, Understanding adult learning theories, Building trust and rapport, Cultural competence in mentoring and coaching.

Module 2: Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Active listening techniques, Powerful questioning skills, Providing constructive feedback, Non-verbal communication awareness, Managing difficult conversations, Building empathy and emotional intelligence.

Module 3: Mentoring and Coaching Models and Frameworks: Popular mentoring models (e.g., developmental, reciprocal), Coaching methodologies (e.g., GROW, solution-focused), Goal-setting frameworks, Structuring mentoring/coaching sessions, Adapting approaches to individual needs, Monitoring progress and outcomes.

Module 4: Supporting Professional Growth and Development: Identifying mentee/ coachee needs and strengths, Facilitating reflective practice, Encouraging goal setting and action planning, Enhancing instructional skills, Promoting continuous learning, Addressing challenges and barriers.

Module 5: Tools and Techniques for Effective Mentoring and Coaching: Use of assessment and diagnostic tools, Technology and virtual coaching platforms, Time management and session planning, Documentation and record-keeping, Resource sharing and networking, Evaluation of mentoring/coaching effectiveness.

Module 6: Building Sustainable Mentoring and Coaching Programs: Designing institutional mentoring/coaching programs, Training and supporting mentors and coaches, Engaging stakeholders and leadership, Creating a culture of collaboration, Measuring program impact, Scaling and sustaining initiatives.

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
