Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Workplace Correspondence: Types of workplace correspondence, Importance of effective communication, Understanding the audience, Formal vs informal communication, Communication channels (email, memo, letters), Basic writing principles.

Module 2: Writing Business Letters: Structure and format of business letters, Writing clear and concise messages, Tone and style in business letters, Common types of business letters (inquiries, complaints, acknowledgments), Proofreading and editing, Using templates and standard formats.

Module 3: Email Communication Skills: Email etiquette and professionalism, Writing effective subject lines, Organizing content for clarity, Managing attachments and links, Responding promptly and appropriately, Handling difficult or sensitive emails.

Module 4: Memos and Internal Communication: Purpose and types of memos, Memo formatting and style, Writing clear internal messages, Using bullet points and lists effectively, Distributing memos efficiently, Maintaining confidentiality in internal communication.

Module 5: Reports and Proposals: Basics of report writing, Types of workplace reports, Organizing content logically, Writing executive summaries, Creating persuasive proposals, Visual aids and formatting in reports.

Module 6: Enhancing Correspondence Effectiveness: Using feedback to improve communication, Managing correspondence workflow, Digital tools for correspondence management, Legal and ethical considerations, Cultural sensitivity in communication, Continuous skill development.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
