Participants learn to perform fundamental and quantitative analysis, assess market trends, and forecast financial performance to support investment decisions.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Equity Research – Role and Responsibilities of an Equity Research Analyst, Overview of Financial Markets and Equity Instruments, Types of Equity Research (Buy-Side, Sell-Side), Equity Valuation Basics, Regulatory Framework and Compliance, Ethical Practices and Professional Conduct

Module 2: Financial Statement Analysis – Understanding Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement, Ratio Analysis and Financial Metrics, Profitability and Liquidity Assessment, Debt and Leverage Analysis, Trend Analysis and Benchmarking, Identifying Red Flags and Accounting Quality

Module 3: Equity Valuation Techniques – Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Analysis, Price Multiples and Relative Valuation, Dividend Discount Model (DDM), Enterprise Value and Market Capitalization Assessment, Sensitivity and Scenario Analysis, Integrating Valuation Methods for Investment Decisions

Module 4: Industry and Company Analysis – Macro and Microeconomic Analysis, Industry Lifecycle and Competitive Landscape, SWOT Analysis and Porter’s Five Forces, Company Business Model and Strategic Positioning, Management and Governance Assessment, Market Share and Growth Potential Evaluation

Module 5: Investment Research Tools and Technology – Financial Modeling and Excel Applications, Equity Research Software and Databases, Technical Analysis and Charting Tools, Data Collection and Visualization Techniques, Quantitative and Statistical Analysis for Equity Research, Automating Research Processes and Reporting

Module 6: Equity Report Writing and Investment Recommendations – Structuring Equity Research Reports, Writing Investment Summaries and Insights, Buy, Hold, and Sell Recommendations, Communication with Clients and Stakeholders, Compliance and Disclosure in Reports, Presentation and Decision Support Techniques

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
