Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Event Manager course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools required to plan, organize, and execute successful events across various industries. The program covers all aspects of event management, including event conceptualization, budgeting, logistics, vendor management, marketing, risk assessment, and post-event evaluation.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Event Management: Overview of event management industry, Types of events (corporate, social, cultural, sports), Roles and responsibilities of an event manager, Event lifecycle and planning stages, Event trends and innovations, Stakeholder identification and engagement

Module 2: Event Planning & Concept Development: Idea generation and event conceptualization, Setting objectives and goals, Theme and design development, Budget preparation and cost estimation, Venue selection and logistics planning, Timeline and project scheduling

Module 3: Marketing & Promotion for Events: Event branding and positioning, Digital marketing strategies for events, Public relations and media management, Sponsorship and partnership development, Audience targeting and engagement, Promotional campaign planning and execution

Module 4: Event Operations & Logistics: Vendor and supplier management, On-site operations management, Audio-visual and technical setup, Transportation and accommodation arrangements, Registration and attendee management, Risk assessment and contingency planning

Module 5: Financial & Legal Management in Events:Budget tracking and financial control, Revenue streams and sponsorship management, Contract negotiation and legal agreements, Insurance and liability considerations, Cost optimization strategies, Financial reporting and post-event analysis

Module 6: Event Evaluation & Post-Event Activities: Post-event feedback collection and analysis, Measuring event success and KPIs, Reporting to stakeholders, Lessons learned and continuous improvement, Media coverage and social media follow-up, Archiving and documentation of event records

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
