Objective: The Certified Export-Import Operations Specialist (CEIOS) course is designed to equip professionals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to manage and optimize export-import operations efficiently and compliantly. The course covers key areas such as international trade regulations, customs documentation, shipping logistics, payment methods, risk management, trade finance, tariff classifications, Incoterms, and compliance with export controls. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Export-Import Operations: Overview of Global Trade and Supply Chains, Roles and Responsibilities in Export-Import, Incoterms and International Trade Terms, Export-Import Documentation, Trade Compliance and Regulatory Environment, Overview of Shipping and Freight Forwarding.

Module 2: Export Procedures and Documentation: Export Licensing and Permits, Commercial Invoices and Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin and Inspection, Customs Declarations and Clearance, Export Packing and Labeling Requirements, Export Payment Methods and Terms.

Module 3: Import Procedures and Documentation: Import Licensing and Regulatory Requirements, Customs Valuation and Tariffs, Import Duty and Tax Calculation, Import Documentation (Bill of Lading, Import Declaration), Clearance and Delivery Processes, Handling Import Compliance and Inspections.

Module 4: Logistics and Freight Management: Modes of Transportation (Air, Sea, Land), Freight Forwarding and Consolidation, Cargo Insurance and Risk Management, Incoterms Application in Shipping, Containerization and Packaging for Transport, Tracking and Tracing Shipments.

Module 5: Payment Methods and Trade Finance: Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit, Open Account and Advance Payment, Foreign Exchange and Currency Risk Management, Trade Finance Institutions and Services, Managing Payment Disputes and Fraud Prevention.

Module 6: Risk Management and Legal Aspects: International Trade Law and Contracts, Managing Trade Risks and Insurance, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration, Compliance with Export Controls and Sanctions, Intellectual Property Considerations, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility in Trade.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
