Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Facilities Support Officer course is designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage and support day-to-day facilities operations. The course covers facility maintenance, space management, safety compliance, vendor coordination, asset management, and sustainability practices. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Facilities Management: Role and Responsibilities of a Facilities Support Officer, Overview of Facilities Management, Types of Facilities (Office, Industrial, Commercial), Importance of Facility Support in Business Operations, Key Terminologies, Regulatory and Safety Standards in Facilities.

Module 2: Facility Maintenance and Operations: Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, Equipment and Asset Management, Maintenance Scheduling and Planning, Handling Repairs and Service Requests, Vendor and Contractor Coordination, Use of Maintenance Management Systems.

Module 3: Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Workplace Safety Regulations, Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Sustainability Practices, Waste Management and Recycling, Occupational Health Standards, Conducting Safety Inspections and Audits.

Module 4: Space Planning and Utilization: Principles of Space Management, Office Layout and Design Considerations, Optimizing Space Utilization, Furniture and Equipment Management, Managing Moves and Relocations, Technology in Space Planning.

Module 5: Budgeting and Resource Management: Budget Preparation and Monitoring, Cost Control Techniques, Procurement Processes for Facilities, Vendor Management and Negotiation, Resource Allocation, Reporting Financial Performance.

Module 6: Communication and Coordination: Effective Communication with Stakeholders, Coordinating with Internal Departments, Handling External Service Providers, Documentation and Record Keeping, Managing Facilities Support Teams, Continuous Improvement and Best Practices.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
