Objective: The Certified Fire Alarm & Detection System Installer course is designed to equip professionals with the technical skills and knowledge required to install, configure, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Participants will learn about different types of fire detection devices, alarm systems, control panels, wiring, troubleshooting, system testing, and compliance with local fire safety codes and regulations.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Planning and Site Assessment: Conducting site surveys and hazard assessments, Determining system requirements and coverage areas, Selection of appropriate detectors and control panels, Integration with building systems (HVAC, lighting, safety systems), Regulatory compliance and approvals, Risk assessment and mitigation strategies

Module 3: Installation Techniques: Mounting and positioning of detectors and alarms, Wiring and cable management, Installation of control panels and notification devices, Network setup for addressable and conventional systems, Testing and calibration of devices, Troubleshooting installation issues

Module 4: System Programming and Integration: Configuration of control panels and programming detectors, Integration with emergency systems and building automation, Setting up alarms, notifications, and alerts, Remote monitoring and connectivity, Interoperability between different system components, Data management and logging

Module 5: Maintenance, Testing, and Safety Compliance: Preventive maintenance routines and inspection schedules, Functional and performance testing of fire systems, Safety protocols during maintenance, Firmware updates and system upgrades, Compliance with local and national fire codes, Documentation and reporting procedures
