Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Fire Fighting Instructor course is designed to train individuals to become expert instructors in fire safety and firefighting techniques. The program covers fire science, fire behavior, prevention strategies, emergency response protocols, and the use of firefighting equipment and personal protective gear.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Fire Fighting Instruction: Overview of Fire Fighting, Role of a Fire Fighting Instructor, Key Terminology and Concepts, History and Evolution of Fire Services, Ethical and Professional Responsibilities, Scope of Instructor Duties

Module 2: Fire Science and Behavior: Combustion Process and Fire Chemistry, Types and Classes of Fires, Fire Dynamics and Spread, Heat, Smoke, and Toxic Gas Behavior, Fire Prevention Principles, Application of Fire Science in Training

Module 3: Fire Fighting Equipment and Techniques: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Usage, Fire Extinguishers and Suppression Tools, Hose Handling and Nozzle Techniques, Ladder and Rescue Operations, Fire Suppression Methods, Safe Operation and Maintenance of Equipment

Module 4: Training Methods and Instructional Design: Adult Learning Principles, Developing Training Modules and Lesson Plans, Classroom and Field Training Techniques, Simulation-Based Training Methods, Evaluating Trainee Performance, Adapting Instruction for Diverse Learners

Module 5: Emergency Response and Safety Protocols: Fire Scene Assessment and Risk Management, Evacuation Procedures and Emergency Drills, Coordination with Fire Teams and Agencies, Incident Command System, Rescue Operations and Safety Measures, Post-Incident Analysis and Reporting

Module 6: Professional Practice and Program Management: Ethical Standards and Legal Considerations, Documentation and Record Keeping, Developing Fire Training Programs and SOPs, Client and Trainee Communication, Continuous Skill Improvement and Certification, Career Development and Continuing Education

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
