Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Forklift Safety Operator course aims to train participants in the safe and efficient operation of forklifts across various workplace environments. The course focuses on understanding forklift components, operating principles, load management, and stability. It also covers pre-operation inspections, routine maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA or equivalent local standards.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Forklift Operations: Overview of forklift types and applications, Basic principles of material handling, Understanding load capacities and stability, Key components and controls of a forklift, Operator duties and responsibilities, Importance of certification and compliance

Module 2: Forklift Safety Regulations and Standards: OSHA and ISO safety requirements, Employer and operator legal obligations, Workplace safety policies and procedures, Reporting accidents and near misses, Pre-operation inspection checklists, Understanding signage and hazard symbols

Module 3: Forklift Operation Techniques: Starting, steering, and maneuvering procedures, Safe lifting and lowering techniques, Handling different load types and sizes, Operating on inclines and uneven surfaces, Parking and shutdown procedures, Efficient fuel and battery management

Module 4: Load Handling and Stability: Understanding the stability triangle, Center of gravity and load distribution, Weight capacity and load charts, Correct stacking and unstacking procedures, Handling hazardous and fragile materials, Preventing tip-overs and spills

Module 5: Workplace Safety and Hazard Management: Identifying potential workplace hazards, Safe operation in confined spaces, Traffic management and pedestrian safety, Use of PPE and emergency procedures, Fire prevention and response, Environmental and ergonomic considerations

Module 6: Maintenance, Inspection, and Practical Evaluation: Routine forklift maintenance and servicing, Pre- and post-operation inspection protocols, Troubleshooting common operational issues, Record keeping and documentation, Hands-on practical driving assessment, Written theory test and certification process

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
