Objective:The Certified Formative Assessment Specialist course is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement formative assessment strategies that support ongoing student learning and instructional improvement. The course covers principles of formative assessment, designing and utilizing assessment tools, data interpretation, feedback techniques, and integrating formative assessments into daily teaching practices.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Formative Assessment: Definition and purpose of formative assessment, Differences between formative and summative assessment, Principles of effective formative assessment, Role of formative assessment in learning, Historical development and theories, Ethical considerations in assessment.

Module 2: Designing Formative Assessment Tools: Types of formative assessment tools and techniques, Creating valid and reliable assessment items, Aligning assessments with learning objectives, Incorporating diverse question formats, Designing rubrics and scoring guides, Using technology to create assessments.

Module 3: Implementing Formative Assessment Practices: Strategies for integrating formative assessments in instruction, Timing and frequency of assessments, Engaging students in self- and peer-assessment, Providing timely and constructive feedback, Differentiating instruction based on assessment data, Managing classroom dynamics during assessment.

Module 4: Analyzing and Interpreting Formative Assessment Data: Collecting and organizing assessment data, Qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, Identifying learning gaps and misconceptions, Using data to inform instructional decisions, Communicating assessment results to stakeholders, Ensuring data privacy and security.

Module 5: Promoting Student Involvement in Assessment: Teaching students to set learning goals, Developing metacognitive skills, Encouraging reflection and self-regulation, Facilitating peer feedback processes, Building a growth mindset culture, Supporting learner autonomy and motivation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
