Objective: The Certified Frontend Web Developer (Design-Oriented) course is designed to train professionals in building visually appealing, responsive, and user-centered web interfaces with a strong emphasis on design principles. The course covers HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, and basic React for building modern UI components. Learners will also explore UI/UX fundamentals, color theory, typography, layout design, accessibility, and animation. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Frontend Development and Web Design: Introduction to Frontend Web Development and Role of a Design-Oriented Developer, Understanding the Structure of the Web (HTML, CSS, JS), Basics of UI/UX Principles for Developers, Design-to-Code Workflow and Collaboration with Designers, Visual Design Fundamentals (Color, Typography, Layout), Accessibility and Inclusive Design Concepts.

Module 2: HTML and Semantic Markup: HTML5 Page Structure and Common Tags, Creating Forms, Tables, Media Embeds, and Lists, Semantic Elements for Better SEO and Accessibility, Structuring Content for Responsive Layouts, Metadata, Links, and Navigation with Best Practices, Integrating Design Mockups into HTML Structures.

Module 3: CSS Styling, Layouts, and Animation: CSS3 Syntax and Selectors, Styling Text, Boxes, and Layout Components, Responsive Layouts with Flexbox and CSS Grid, Customizing Typography, Colors, and UI Elements from Design Systems, CSS Transitions, Transformations, and Keyframe Animations, Theming and Visual Consistency Across Web Pages.

Module 4: JavaScript Essentials for UI Interactions: JavaScript Basics: Variables, Functions, and DOM Manipulation, Event Handling and Dynamic UI Updates, Form Validation and User Input Handling, Implementing UI Features like Dropdowns, Tabs, and Modals, Using JavaScript for Accessibility Enhancements, Introduction to Vanilla JS Animation and Effects.

Module 5: Design Tools, Frameworks, and Component Libraries: Converting Figma/Adobe XD Designs to Frontend Code, Using CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) for Rapid Styling, Working with UI Component Libraries (Material UI, Chakra UI), Integrating Icons, Fonts, and Design Tokens, Creating Reusable Components and Layout Templates, Responsive and Mobile-First Implementation with Design Systems.

Module 6: Testing, Optimization, and Deployment: Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Compatibility Testing, Performance Optimization for Visual Speed and Responsiveness, Image and Asset Optimization Techniques, Introduction to Version Control with Git and GitHub, Hosting and Deploying Websites (Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Pages), Building a Design-Focused Frontend Portfolio and Career Pathways.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
