Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: This course is aimed at equipping professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess and ensure the quality of garments throughout the production process. Participants will learn about the key factors that affect garment quality, such as fabric selection, stitching techniques, and finishing processes. The course covers industry-standard quality control practices, testing methodologies, and the use of various tools and equipment to evaluate garment quality.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Garment Quality Control: Overview of Garment Quality Control, Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Garment Quality Analyst, Importance of Quality in Apparel Production, Types of Garment Quality Issues (Fabric Defects, Construction Defects, etc.), Understanding Industry Standards for Garment Quality, Garment Quality Control Terminology.
Module 2: Quality Standards and Specifications: Understanding International Quality Standards (ISO, AQL, ASTM), Defining Garment Specifications and Technical Packs, Creating and Interpreting Garment Specifications, Quality Control Checkpoints in Garment Manufacturing, Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) for Garments, Labeling and Product Documentation Compliance.
Module 3: Fabric Quality and Testing: Fabric Properties and Their Impact on Garment Quality, Key Fabric Defects (Tears, Holes, Color Mismatch), Methods for Testing Fabric Quality (Tensile Strength, Shrinkage, Abrasion Resistance), Fabric Inspection Techniques, Understanding Textile Certifications (OEKO-TEX, GOTS), Quality Control of Fabric Dyeing and Finishing Processes.
Module 4: Garment Construction and Production Process: Overview of Garment Manufacturing Processes, Quality Assurance in Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing Stages, Common Construction Defects in Garment Production (Seam Issues, Stitches, Hems), Garment Fitting and Size Standards, Techniques for Identifying and Correcting Manufacturing Defects, Process Control in Garment Production.
Module 5: Garment Inspection and Testing: Garment Inspection Procedures (In-line, Final, and Pre-shipment Inspections), Tools and Equipment for Garment Inspection, Types of Garment Testing (Colorfastness, Shrinkage, Durability), Understanding and Implementing Test Reports, Handling Non-Conformance and Product Rejection, Quality Audit Techniques in Garment Manufacturing.
Module 6: Reporting, Documentation, and Continuous Improvement: Documenting Quality Control Procedures and Findings, Reporting Non-conformities and Corrective Actions, Communicating with Production and Design Teams on Quality Issues, Creating and Maintaining Quality Control Records, Implementing Continuous Improvement Programs (Six Sigma, Lean), Auditing and Evaluating Garment Production for Consistent Quality.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
