Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Glazing & Facade Installer course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to install, maintain, and repair glazing systems and building façades in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Participants will learn glass types and materials, curtain wall systems, structural glazing techniques, façade cladding methods, sealant application, alignment and leveling, safety procedures, and compliance with building codes and standards.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Glazing and Facade Systems: Role and responsibilities of a glazing and facade installer, Overview of building envelope and facade types, Types of glass and glazing materials, Curtain wall systems and panel facades, Importance of thermal, acoustic, and weather performance, Safety and regulatory considerations

Module 2: Materials and Tools for Glazing Installation: Common materials for glazing and facades (glass, aluminum, sealants, gaskets), Selection criteria based on project requirements, Tools and equipment for cutting, handling, and installing glass, Maintenance and care of tools, Handling and storage of glazing materials, Cost and efficiency considerations

Module 3: Design and Layout for Facade Installation: Reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings, Planning installation sequences, Panel and glass layout techniques, Load calculations and support requirements, Integration with structural and building systems, Coordination with engineers and project managers

Module 4: Installation Techniques: Step-by-step procedures for installing glass panels and facade elements, Handling and lifting techniques for large panels, Fastening, sealing, and alignment methods, Installation of support frames and anchors, Adjustments for complex geometries, Ensuring weatherproofing and insulation

Module 5: Quality, Safety, and Maintenance: Inspection of installed glazing and facade systems for alignment and integrity, Leak detection and sealing, Safety protocols and PPE usage, Risk assessment and hazard mitigation, Routine maintenance practices for durability, Compliance with building codes and standards

Module 6: Professional Development and Documentation: Communication with project teams and supervisors, Documentation of installation progress, Troubleshooting and problem-solving on-site, Ethical and professional conduct, Continuing education and certification pathways, Career growth opportunities in glazing and facade installation
