Global Occupational Skill Standard – GOSS ID: GOSS/TL/CGLS/V1

Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Global Logistics Specialist course is designed to provide professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in managing international logistics and global supply chains. Participants learn to navigate complex global transportation networks, customs regulations, trade compliance, and cross-border operations. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Global Logistics: Overview of Global Logistics, Role of a Global Logistics Specialist, International Supply Chain Concepts, Key Terminology in Global Trade, Importance of Global Logistics in Business, Challenges in Global Transportation

Module 2: International Transportation and Shipping: Modes of International Transport, Freight Forwarding and Carrier Selection, Route Planning and Optimization, Documentation for International Shipping, Incoterms and Trade Terms, Shipping Cost Management

Module 3: Customs, Compliance, and Regulations: International Trade Regulations, Customs Clearance Procedures, Import and Export Documentation, Tariffs, Duties, and Taxes, Trade Compliance and Risk Management, Regulatory Bodies and Standards

Module 4: Inventory, Warehousing, and Distribution: Global Inventory Management, Strategic Warehousing for International Operations, Cross-Border Distribution Strategies, Stock Replenishment and Demand Forecasting, Cold Chain and Specialized Logistics, Technology in International Warehousing

Module 5: Technology and Data in Global Logistics: Logistics Management Systems (LMS) and ERP, Tracking and Visibility Tools, Data Analytics for Global Supply Chains, IoT and Automation in Logistics, Blockchain Applications in International Trade, Decision-Making Tools and KPI Monitoring

Module 6: Professional Practice and Strategic Planning: Strategic Global Logistics Planning, Risk Assessment and Mitigation, Sustainability and Green Logistics, Vendor and Partner Management, Communication and Negotiation in International Context, Developing a Global Logistics Policy

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
