Objective: The Certified Global Logistics Strategist course is designed to equip participants with the expertise needed to plan, implement, and optimize global logistics networks in alignment with modern supply chain demands. The course covers international transportation modes (air, sea, land, multimodal), route optimization, freight forwarding, customs clearance, cross-border regulations, inventory control, warehousing strategies, and digital logistics technologies (TMS, WMS, GPS tracking).

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Global Logistics and Trade: Introduction to global logistics and supply chain dynamics, Role of logistics in international trade and commerce, Key players and intermediaries in global logistics, International trade regulations and compliance (WTO, INCOTERMS), Understanding global trade lanes and shipping routes, Logistics strategies for competitive global operations.

Module 2: Freight Management and Transportation Modes: Types of transportation: air, sea, road, rail, and multimodal logistics, Freight cost structures, carrier selection, and contract negotiation, Route planning, load optimization, and transit time analysis, Air cargo and ocean freight documentation and operations, Freight consolidation, cross-docking, and break-bulk strategies, Freight forwarding and customs brokerage coordination.

Module 3: Global Warehousing and Distribution Strategy: Role of warehouses in global logistics networks, Types of warehouses: bonded, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, Warehouse layout design, slotting, and material handling systems, Global distribution strategies and inventory positioning, Performance metrics and automation in warehouse operations, Outsourcing and 3PL/4PL warehousing solutions.

Module 4: Customs Clearance and Regulatory Compliance: Customs procedures, documentation, and HS code classification, Duties, tariffs, and trade facilitation measures, Compliance with global regulations: EXIM policy, FTAs, WTO rules, AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) and customs risk management, Role of technology in e-clearance and customs automation, Handling delays, inspections, and regulatory disputes.

Module 5: Logistics Technology and Global Visibility: Logistics Information Systems (LIS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Real-time tracking, GPS, RFID, IoT, and blockchain applications, Use of EDI, API, and cloud platforms for global logistics integration, Predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning in logistics planning, Digital twins and simulation in global logistics optimization, Cybersecurity and data privacy in logistics operations.

Module 6: Strategic Planning, Risk Management, and Sustainability: Strategic logistics planning aligned with global business goals, Risk identification and mitigation in global logistics (disruption, delay, theft), Business continuity and resilience planning in logistics networks, Sustainable logistics practices and carbon footprint reduction, Performance evaluation using KPIs and balanced scorecards, Case studies on global logistics strategy and innovation.
