Objective: The Certified Guest Services Coordinator course is designed to prepare professionals for delivering exceptional guest experiences in tourism and resort settings. The course focuses on front-line guest service skills, including check-in/check-out procedures, concierge services, reservation management, complaint handling, cultural sensitivity, and personalized service delivery.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Guest Services in Tourism & Resorts: hospitality industry overview, role of guest services coordinator, types of accommodation and resorts, guest service standards, importance of customer satisfaction, trends in tourism and hospitality

Module 2: Front Office Operations: reception and check-in procedures, reservation management, handling guest inquiries, billing and check-out processes, communication with other departments, use of property management systems (PMS)

Module 3: Customer Relationship Management: understanding guest needs and expectations, personalized guest services, complaint handling and conflict resolution, loyalty programs and guest retention, effective communication skills, cultural sensitivity and etiquette

Module 4: Housekeeping & Facility Management: overview of housekeeping operations, room preparation and inspection, maintenance of public areas, safety and hygiene standards, coordination with other departments, sustainability and eco-friendly practices

Module 5: Food & Beverage Services: basics of food and beverage operations, room service and dining etiquette, menu knowledge and upselling techniques, handling special requests and dietary needs, interaction with kitchen and service staff, quality and hygiene standards

Module 6: Tourism Marketing & Technology in Guest Services: promoting resort and tourism services, use of social media and digital marketing, online booking and review management, feedback collection and analysis, partnership with travel agents and tour operators, performance measurement and service improvement

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
